My Macbook air running OSX : Libreoffice, especially Calc, is very slow. In python/basic macro, to convert logic position/size to pixel position/size I have to multiply the formula by 2x to get exact numbers, the problem is my macbook air is old and it does not have rentina display. I think the dpi detection has some bug on OSX so the render engine draws 2 times bigger which slows down the application pretty much. I tried to disable/enable opengl/opencl/etc, nothing helped to speed things up.

The same Macbook air running Ubuntu : Libreoffice runs smoothly.
