LibreOffice will NOT paste from html sources

I am unable to paste into LibreOffice Writer or Calc from html sources or third party software copy/paste.

This began with this upgrade to version 6.2. Previous versions had no issues with the clipboard. Is a fix on the way, or do I need to abandon using LibreOffice?

This issue does not exist in Impress. . .

I am running LibreOffice Version: 6.2.8.2 (x64) (Build ID: f82ddfca21ebc1e222a662a32b25c0c9d20169ee) in Windows 10.

No need to respond anymore – I’ve been looking for help on this for months. . . after 15 years with LibreOffice I have now uninstalled and gone back to Microsoft Office. . . too bad that a fine tool was broken and no one seems the least bit aware that such a simple operation is broken. . .
