Is there a way to separate the footnotes from the main text by a line?
This is an attribute of the page style.
If you’re a newbie and use only one page style, you can access the default one with Format>Page Style. All definitions related to footnotes are in Footnote tab.
By default, the separating line is limited to 25% of the page width. For a full line, set the Length: value to 100%.
The other parameters allow you to customise the line to your test (thickness, colour, …).
