Trying to link my spreadsheet on computer to my fire tablet. Trying to updat spreadsheet while at customer, and transfere data when I get home. If I email the spreadsheet it comes across as read only. Cannot figure out how to make it sharable
For something like this I would typically use a cloud platform like Dropbox (there are many other providers) so I could access the document on both machines and, if necessary, from a web page on a customer’s machine (security implications in this scenario).
If you want to continue using email then saving the attachment to the computer and opening that usually resolves many of the those issues. If you still cannot open the spreadsheet that you saved to the drive then you should be able to adjust properties of the file to allow you to open it.
