.I updated numbers in one calc sheet from another calc sheet with using **='file:///Users/… specifying the full path, the tab name, and the specific cell and sporadically this just breaks showing and error my requesting spreadsheet. I have allowed updated links always from trusted locations on the previous versions of LO but cannot seem to find that on 24.02. If I click the cell for the calc sheet to update the requesting sheet with the exact same information it relinks and works for awhile. This was happening before I moved to the 24 version of LO so this is an old issue.
I did find in LO where to put trusted files etc but this still breaks as items and I have to go copy and paste the link again. I set LO to update links upon opening. Is there a way to do a force refresh once I open the file to avoid the tedious copy and paste?
You can add more than one trusted location. Click LibreOffice > Preferences > LibreOffice > Security > Macro security > Trusted Sources > Trusted File Locations and click the Add button.
Or you could untick Block any links from documents not among the trusted locations (see Macro Security) in LibreOffice > Preferences > LibreOffice > Security > Options
Did put my main Documents directory in that place under Macro Security / Trusted Sources. I had security set to Medium and just changed it back to Very High as did not know if that caused a conflict Also under Security options, I have checked Block any links from documents that are not among trusted locations.
Is there any command in the menu in Calc to force an update in links?
