LO 32 bits + jre 32 bits: not working?

Hello

On a Windows 10 laptop, I installed a 32-bit version of Libre Office (I need the 32-bit version to open an old Access file).
For some Writer feature I need Java, so I installed 32-bit version of Java from Oracle (following the steps providing in this page: Frequently asked questions - General - The Document Foundation Wiki) but when LO tries to use it, Ihave the error message “JRE defective, use another version”.
I tried with another JRE but I have the same error message.

I checked the forum but it seems that each time the problem is mixing 32 and 64 bit, which is not my guess (unless I made a mistake somewhere)

My Libre Office information:

Version: 24.8.5.2 (x86) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: fddf2685c70b461e7832239a0162a77216259f22
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (10.0 build 10586); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR
Calc: CL threaded

Java configuration

What did I miss ?

Thanks for any inputs

Hello,
maybe this is not the issue, but in the screenshot you have selected Eclipse Adoptium as your Java, instead of the Oracle Java 1.8. I assume you want to use Oracle 1.8 for LO, since this one is shown in the cmd window (and its the 32bit java). Did you select the Oracle java 1.8 in LibreOffice and this is just wrong in the screenshot?
LO does not use the default java on the system but the java you select in the advanced config.

Hello

In fact I installed first the Oracle Java 1.8. And when I got the error, I tried with another Java version (the Adoptiul) one.
And the result was the same
Java is only for LibreOffice so I don’t care about the version, I just need to have a working configuration
