LO 4.4.2.2 gives menu corruption

Any of the programs when started from 4.4.2.2 on Fedora 20 and 21 64-bit cause screen corruption. All the menus and icons etc are badly corrupted but the data portion of a document in writer or calc show with no problems at all. Previously I was using 4.3 with no issues at all. My Fedora 20 system has ATI graphics and my Fedora 21 system uses INTEL graphics. Both systems use the KDE desktop. Has anyone any ideas as to why/how this is happening?

I tried removing the old profile but it made no difference at all.

I would first rename the user profile and then create a new one following: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

If you want to get customizations etc, replace folders from the old (=renamed) user profile to see where the problem occurs.
