Windows 8.1 64 bit
Tried to install several times, each time getting the error 1935 when the installer got to the “publishing product” part as follows:

This last try, I turned off my antivirus to see if that would help. I do not have Java installed or Net framework (just restored the computer two days ago). I do have Microsoft Visual C++2005,2008,2010,2012 and 2013.
I am looking for a MSOffice alternative that will let me edit my MSOffice files and re-save them in their native extension as well as LO’s native extensions. Can you help?
Please have a look if the downloaded LibO file has the extension “msi”.
If not:
- download the msi-file from http://www.libreoffice.org/
- check if the downloaded file has the msi-extension, if not replace the existing extension by “msi”
- start the installation.
If yes:
Forget all what I wrote and don’t have a solution. Sorry.
Yes, it is msi extension and it was a quick, clean download.
