Win7, LO 4.3.5.2. I created a set of footnotes in my document, saved, then repeatedly loaded and made changes. Today I noticed that each time I save/load (always within LO) a new blank line gets added to each footnote. If I remove the extra lines and save, then open again, more lines appear, with no apparent limit.
This page says that someone reported this problem years ago, but if you go to the matching bug description, someone says “no one has talked about this lately so I’ll assume it’s fixed”. So far it looks like I will need to use Word to get my document’s footnotes working.
