LO: collabora office 5.3-40
Have gone through installation procedure for jdk-10.0.1_osx-x64_bin.dmg (3 times)
Java may not be on mac. Not found in system preferrences.
LO Base not finding any java in mac collabora options-advanced.
Any suggestions? (besides downsizing to an abacus)
There have been problems with JRE/JDK 10 using some versions of LO especially in regard to Mac. I would try JDK 9 or even 8 for a possible solution.
Solution was, or seemed to be, jdk-10.0.1_osx-x64_bin.dmg for the Java, and getting the latest mac package directly from libre office site. (5.4.7.2) Incorrectly thought that collabora was the only source for a mac installation package. Many thanks.
