Not sure from which version on this happened, but the current LO I’m using (5.3.6.1, x64) always crashes when I remove the last file in the Recent File overview. Is this a known issue?
Are you talking of the “thumbnails” in the startup frame?
I cannot confirm this for LibO V 5.4.3 under Win 10.

@Lupp: Yes, I’m talking about the thumbnails overview. Whenever I delete the last one, I get the crash (100%). LO 5.3.7.2

After restart of LO 6.x issue was gone… Also asked to close the bug I reported.
Dare I unserstand “remove the last file” as “delete the last thumbnail in the startup panel by clicking on its cross button”?
If so, I canot confirm the issue.
If otherwise, please explain.
I tested with LibO V6.0.0.3 (standard install) and with V5.4.4.2, V4.4.7.2 (PortableApps version).
Versions of the 3.x.y series did not yet show preview thumbnails.
Strange problems sometimes are cured by resetting the user profile. Be specifically careful about backups if you have defined user templates or user code (“macros”). See this wiki page.
Issue is solved with LO 6.0 + resetting user profile. Don’t know if both solved it or if resetting user profile in LO 5.x would have done the job too…
