LO install on Mac using Apple Architecture

When installing LO 7.2.4 on Mac using the Apple silicon architecture option (aarch64), how do I add a Java runtime to use libreoffice-base? (in preferences - advanced options the java part appears greyed out)
Do I need some extra modules?
(When using the x86-64 install option of 7.2.4 everything works fine)

How to install Java (JRE/JDK) so that LibreOffice could use it?

Can that help?

Java is installed and working fine (e.g. with the LO-x86 build). However, from the LO-aarch64 build I did not find a way to select and use it, as the respective menus were grayed out.

For a 64-bit LibreOffice you also need a 64-bit Java.
How do I install Java for my Mac?

64 bit java is installed and working fine. LO 7.2.4 x86 is using it perfectly. I am just having troubles with the LO 7.2.4 arch build. The java engine select page just looks like some 5 years ago when some of the modules of LO were missing, and needed to be loaded separately: The select the java engine menu in the main option page is “greyed out”. So my question is what kind of modules do I need to load in addition (or what else can I do) to get LO-base Forms working.

I use Windows myself and can’t help you at this point.
But I’m sure someone with macos knowledge will get back to you.
