What problem does having Noto Sans installed cause?

On my Windows 10 computer, I use the Noto Sans font for my desktop icons/menus etc. Every time I upgrade LO, it wipes out the Noto Sans Regular font and I have to reinstall the fonts. Then the text on my desktop icons and many of my applications is very messy looking. I don’t understand why LO installs the font anyway. AFAIK it doesn’t even use it.
You may try to disable installation of gm_r_Fonts_OOo_Hidden feature, as explained in the Deployment wiki.
