LO Macro editor alway opens with a collapsed window

I am having a problem with LibreOffice Macro. Whenever I open the macro editor (from Calc, Writer, or any other), the macro editor window appears collapsed, like a very thin and short vertical line close to the left-top corner. I have to find and enlarge it to see the editor. If I close the editor and the calling app, launch it again, and open the macro editor, it shows up collapsed window again (never saves the last window sizes). This has been occurring for a while, for both, Ububtu version and LO version (I reckon about 6 to 9 months or even more).

I use Ubuntu 23.10, [date=2023-12-21 timezone=“Australia/Melbourne”]and the LO version is 7.6.4.1 (X86_64), OS LINUX 6.5, UI render: default, VLC: gtk3, locale en_US,Ubuntu package version: 4:7.6.4-0ubuntu0.23.10.2

Have you the User Data filled-in in your LO user profile?

Yes, I have. Just my name. But I think a behavior like this should not occur just because the User Data would be filled or not. I tried to find where LO saves the window’s size when closing it, with no luck. I see no problem with the main applications,only with the macro editor.

I did some research and a similar problem occurred some time ago, but with another window.

It seems that it might have to do something with the update of the following line in the file registrymodifications.xcu file under the LO User folder.

2343,475,1023,390;1;,;

The numbers 2343, 475,1023,390 seems to be the coordinates and sizes of the BasicIDE (the correct name) when it is closed, but it seems it is not read when an application, or the IDE itself is open next time.
