I’m using MX Linux 23.3, with LO 24.2.5.2, when I was using LO installed from package manager, it was fine, but when I used AppImage to launch LO (Writer, Calc, Draw, etc), noticed that the minimize/expand icon disappeared from the top right corner (the only icon remaining/available is CLOSE or X). Is there anyway to get it back in configuration or it’s a bug when they packaged into AppImage?
Someone reported the same thing with AppImage and LibreOffice a week or two ago. I suspect it’s a bug/limitation of AppImage.
Unless you have a real need to run LibreOffice as a contained package (like AppImage or flatpak, etc) I’d highly recommend installing it natively. Particularly if you don’t have the time or inclination to go chasing bugs.
