I am using Libre Office 5.3 and Zotero standalone 4.0.29.10 on a Ubuntu 16.04 machine. I’ve been inserting citations from Zotero into writer documents without any major problems for a few months now, however, when I tried to insert a citation today LO crashed. I restarted the computer, opened LO, recovered the document and made a second attempt at inserting a citation from Zotero. Same thing happened. Can anyone explain to me why this is happening please and how I can resolve the issue? My document is saved as .odt.
Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.

Usually it’s enough renaming/deleting the file “user/registrymodifications.xcu”, it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files “user/basic/dialog.xlc” and “scrip.xlc” are overwritten, additionally custom colors in “user/config/standard.soc” are lost.
