LO Writer HANGS on drag and drop image

mac 12.6 LO 7.3.6.2

take a window shot/grab, drag the image from the desktop onto a LO writer doc = HANG - every time

the underlying issue is is the image on the desktop is still ‘selected’ from the system creation
drag that = fatal
one has to remember to click on the desktop , THEN grab the image file and drag onto LO

multiple hangs per day…

Running current LO versions on current macOS versions is problematic for some users (146598 – Freezing when using cut, copy, or paste on macOS).

I’m using LO 7.1.8.1 again (on macOS 12.6.1), and everything works fine.
