Is there a solution yet for installing LO3.5 on a Server 2008 R2 operating system ?
I get the error message saying an error occurred during registration of extensions.
i have seen similar error messages in other posts but have not seen a solution yet. Apologies if I have missed it.

CONFIRMED:
It works if you:
- Install “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)”
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5582
- And then install LibreOffice 3.5.1.
