I have an existing LibreOffice base file which has a data source of a MySQL database.
The current file is working correctly but I have just added 3 new tables to the MySQL database.
How do I get the existing base file to recognise these new tables?

Typically if they are in the same schema Base will recognize them.
If they are not seen, then on the main screen of the .odb, from menu select Tools->Table Filter.... On the ensuing dialog, find your tables in the list and make sure the box to left of table is checked. Close the dialog. Then select the Tables section (Database column on left) and then from menu select View->Refresh Tables. This will regenerate the list of tables and your newly created tables should be there.

I did do a search in the LibreOffice help files for Refresh Tables and the only mention referred to Calc - Pivot tables
Similar for the “Table Filter” option referred to Pivot Tables
