I’m curious if libreoffice can also be infected through the virus Locky ransomware, because there are lots of warning by the use of Office products and automatic macro use. Well, If it spreads through Macro, then you need not be afraid much.
Microsoft uses VBA Macro while Libre Office uses OO Basic.
Though it is recommended to turn off Macro to make your system secure, you could be safe if you don’t. Microsoft Macros are different which are not supported by Libre Office.
