Losing document updates in Calc spreadsheet

Updates I have made to a Calc document are being lost.

The document is named: Di Castri - Financial Profile V1.xlsx

It is saved to Google Drive.

If I look in Google Drive immediately I see it and it’s fine but when I open the doc again through Recents Docs it reverts to an old version without the changes.

I have done this several times but it always reverts to the same old version

When I look in Google drive I see a file with this name: .~lock.Di Castri - Financial Profile V1.xlsx#

Help please!

If you want to take advantage of all the power of Calc, don’t mix it with Excel.

Very Menu/Data/Calculate- Autocalculate it’s enable.

this is a file for lock in file system. You can safely ignore it. If you don’t like it, you can delete it after you close all offices.
