Lost all text in document after saving

Source document is .docx

Edited and ‘saved as’ .docx and .odt

The table format remains visible in the saved documents, but ALL text and images have disappeared!!! The source document remains as originally edited.

The document took me 3hrs to complete, so I am obviously keen to try and reclaim the work I’ve done…

PLEASE help!!!
