So we had a power cut while I was working on a Writer document. I am fastidious when it comes to saving, so wasn’t worried when the computer turned off unexpectedly. When power was restored I started the computer, and Writer and got it to recover the document… only to find it missing the last 40 minutes’ worth of work, it finished at the point where I had done a “fresh load” (I had closed the document, gone to lunch, then opened it again when I came back).
Now I know I save every few minutes, it’s in my DNA to do this (I transcribe interviews so do a save each time someone finishes speaking), so how is it that LibreOffice hasn’t saved all that I had done in the last 40 minutes?
Is there a way to ensure it saves everything properly each time I press CTRL+S?
