Turned on computer at home - no Libre when using shortcut. Checked programs and it is still there, but I cannot open Libre at all. Went to website to download new version - download fails. What is going on? Please advise and thanks. PS Libre is not easy to learn, especially trying to set margins on a page.
You haven’t said what operating system you are using, I will assume Windows. Possibly the change comes from a recent update, KB5032190
LibreOffice won’t open:
Check your anti-virus settings, you will probably need to add soffice.bin (C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\soffice.bin) to the Allowed list, possibly in the anti-ransomware section.
Cannot download:
Click Start menu > Settings > Apps > Advanced App settings > Choose where to get apps change to Anywhere
Set margins on page:
Right click on page and select Page Style > Page and under margins set the appropriate distances for each
