Suddenly libreoffice 7 completely freezes when trying to print Mac with Big Sur. No new software. Deleted Libreoffice, deleted apllication support directlry, reinstalled libreoffice — did not cure the problem.
Suggestions? THanks in Advance …
Did you grant Full Disk Access to LibreOffice?
Yes. And after the problem appeared in Libre Office I also downloaded Open Office which prints OK as does MS Word …
Did you try what happens, when running in LibreOffice’s Safe Mode (Help -> Restart in Safe Mode
)? If that works, probably your LibreOffice user profile is corrupt and you need to reset to factory settings
Thanks for your responses! Tried safe mode, unfortunately no improvement.
The title of this question, while being artistically inventive, is technically meaningless and is of no help to the community. (Which solution would ever be searched for by using this title??) Such titles should be discouraged.
Hello,
may be it is bug #tdf137499. You could leave a confirmation message, if the description applies to your case as well.
Since “Big Sur” isn’t yet officially released (as per my knowledge) reports related to this release of macOS are very rare on bugzilla.
I think you are correct, although I’ve been running Big Sur since the beta was first offered. It may be that my Macs automatic updates snuck in a new version and that flamed out LO.
Thanks!!!
latest update (10/16) to Big Sur solved the problem – Big Sur 11.0 Beta (20A5395g)
