Mac Office 7 - remove text, leave icon?

On Writer the top toolbar has descriptions and icons, for example the text ‘New’ and an image of the new icon. These icons are above the standard toolbar - I added them.
How do I remove the text description and leave the icon?

probably you need to:

  • Tools -> Customize -> Tab: Toolbars
  • Select the Target toolbar (e.g. Standard)
  • Click the icon right to the target tool bar
  • Click Icon only
