Upgraded to Mac OS Sierra. Drawing module crashes after one or two elements are added (a ring and a circle). Note: I have not used Drawing module previously, so not sure if it worked with El Capitan. Is there a fix available?
LibreOffice apparently has a number of issues with macOS Sierra. Can not address your problem with draw, my guess it is related to the other problems LO is having. All I know is that they are working on a fix.
I’ve experienced all the same symptoms since upgrading to Sierra. I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro.
Here is what has worked for me.
I’m using LibreOffice 5.2.2.2
Go to
Finder | Applications | Libreoffice – right click and select Show Package Contents
Select Contents | MACOS | double click SOFFICE
This starts terminal and Libreoffice
File | Open | navigate to document and double click.
I’ve opened Writer. Spreadsheet, and Presentation/PPTs with this method.
Hope this helps. JWFish

Not working for me, still freezes even with 5.2.2.2, but I did get this error in terminal if it helps the devs:
soffice(1431,0x7fffc676f3c0) malloc: *** error for object 0x7f8c59baee00: incorrect checksum for freed object - object was probably modified after being freed.
