When doing mail merge all goes well until the adjusting - trying to click the boxes in question LO crashes.
And it is the absolutely latest updated version 5.1.6.2 for Ubuntu. I would very much appreciate a fix to this annoying little bug; otherwise LO is excellent. And I have a feeling I did not have this problem on earlier versions, e.g. 4…

First, try to upgrade to a current version (5.2 or 5.3). That may be done also for older Ubuntu using LibreOffice Fresh ppa.
So there’s a newer version, I just installed via apt and thought it automatically offers the latest. Okay, I’ll try that. But to be honest this kind of bug should not exist regardless of the version…

I don’t know if that is a bug, or a user profile corruption, or something else. I just mentioned the version and advised accordingly.
WRT “should not exist regardless of the version” - any bug is better when it doesn’t exist. Patches are welcome!

… And it is 5.3.3.2 now; the merging process differed slightly from the earlier towards the end, but as said, it is working now & crashing no more.
