I use a spread sheet (Archers) with name, surname and shooter nr and want to merge it to two score sheets on one page in writer (Score sheets). How do I get Libre Office to give me two different sets of data on one page
Do you have a sample of your spreadsheet and what you want the scoresheet to look like?
From your description it seems you might want two lists on one page rather than merging.
There is a comprehensive document compiled by the LibreOffice community that covers many data merging situations.
You can find it here: https://documentation.libreoffice.org/assets/Uploads/Documentation/en/WG4.2/PDF/WG4211-UsingMailMerge.pdf
Please read my comment as it is unclear about the format you want for your final document. If you can include an image (even a hand drawn picture) of what you want to do we can try to help you.
Please change this to a comment as it does not answer the question.
Misleading to people looking for an answer.
Now included a link to the community documentation on MailMerge.
The question requires more explanation before a comprehensive answer can be given.
If that additional information is provided I will re-edit my answer to be more helpful.
Copy your layout for the first archer and insert it below.
Now you get the same data twice, but you have the layout.
Between both insert a special field - availble with Insert-Fields-more Fields usually under Database to select the next row. (I have to look up the Name later, as my german install shows “Nächster Datensatz”)
Print should now give 2 Sets of data on this page.
