Hey guys,
I am making the LibreOffice Calc file. I made quite a few tables. I want the borders of the tables make thicker then the lines between cells inside the table. Got any idea how to do it? Is it even possible?
Hey guys,
I am making the LibreOffice Calc file. I made quite a few tables. I want the borders of the tables make thicker then the lines between cells inside the table. Got any idea how to do it? Is it even possible?
Highlight the table. Right click and select ‘Table…’ its about halfway down the menu. (You can also click on the menu at the top ‘Table > Table Properties’ ).
On the ‘Table Format’ window select the ‘Borders Tab’ at the top, 4th option from the left.
Top right of this panel you will see a ‘Default’ area with 5 different types of border selection. The 5th from the left has a blue cross through the middle and if you hover over it with your cursor it says ‘set out border without changing inner lines’. Select this option then change the width parameter on the right and click OK on this window.
This should have the desired effect.
Yes, mark the whole table and in Format > Cells > Borders set all border lines (4th icon from left in section Default). Then again in this dialog with the same selection click on 5th icon from left. That icon means “set outer border and keep inner lines”. Now select a larger border width. OK.
