Manual Page Break with a New Page Style

• I have written a document with many pages, the document pages uses dual columns for the writing. I need to go back between the chapters to insert blank pages. I have tried but it only replicates a page with the dual columns.
  Here is the Procedure that failed for me.

1. Clicked on Insert
2. Clicked on More Breaks
3. Clicked on Manual Breaks
4. Clicked on Page Break, and Selected a New Page Style ( I made the new style to create a blank page)
5. A new page appeared, but it’s format was connected to the previous page and the dual column continued onto this new page instead of being blank.

How Do I fix this?

I have Windows 11 64 bit. and I’m using LO 24.8.3.2
