Master document macro

Hi,

Does anyone have a macro that creates a master document? In my mind, when you run the macro it asks:

  1. The number of chapters
  2. The format of the chapters (ODT vs DOCX vs DOC vs RTF vs…)
  3. A pattern for the file names (e.g. Chapter ## - Book title)
  4. Save folder

Then when you run, you have as a result an ODM file with X documents created automatically.

Right now, I do it by creating a .ODT file, copying it multiple times, then inserting the files in the master document. If there was a better way…
