Mendeley plugin not responding?

In ubuntu 18.04, I installed Mendeley desktop (1.19.5) and when I open Libereoffice wirter (6.2.4.2) to add citation, bibliography, choose citation style, etc. nothing seems to work. Then when I checked at the extension manager of Libereoffice writer I found a problem Error: The status of this extension is unknown (attached the pic).
Can somebody help?

I think the problem was with the Libereoffice version.
I just downgraded Libereoffice writer from 6.2.4.2 to Version: 6.1.4.2.

Now Mendeley plugin is functioning smoothly.
