I have around 2600 ods files with a single sheet and exact same fields that I would like to merge into a master file. All files are on the same folder and follow a systematic name (id+year) This process does not need to be dinamic per se, as for future years could be added manually. The independant files do not need to remain.
Otherwise I would like to find a way to link semiautomatically from a master file to each individual file so that they would open whenever the information needed to be retrieved.
I am trying to look into macros, but my programing knowledge is quite basic. I have a hunch that doing it with Base would be a better solution but at the moment it is not working on my work computer.
