Meta: ask.libreoffice.org email alerts not working?

For some strange reason settings for email alerts here is being cleared, or is it buggy?

Because when I go to my user profile and click email alerts to set my email preferences:

and then click “Update”, I THINK I have set my email preferences… but I haven’t…

When I click the email alerts link again I can see that suddenly nothing is set:

This appears to explain why I can’t get emails when someone responds to my question or comment. I feel a little stupid. I have set this a few times over the past couple of months, thinking I finally had this working.

What could be wrong? How do I get respose emails from ask.libreoffice.org?

I have reported it to the Document Foundation but nothing has been done.

The Document Foundation has reported that it is fixed. I have tried it and it is now working.

I have just noticed that although the main part is working the section at the bottom "Choose email tag filter will not change from “exclude ignored tags”.

Thanks for your submission to Redmine. I hope it works and quickly. If not a few of us need to pester them to get this done I think. I can see how it has led to the loss of interest here at ask: people come here, they post a question, they get an answer or comments, but then NEVER even knew they got those comments or an answer… and leave disheartened, like they whole thing is broken down.
