Nor sure if it’s general.

I just received a notification update on this old question. A new comment has been added by user banti17997.

It really looks like spam. Can the comment feature be used to workaround spam filters?

Am I the only one to received unsollicited irrelevant comments?

It is not new. It is much less frequent than the others though. Have seen it before & just deleted it.
