Hi
I use tables a lot in writer as a formatting aid and it’s a nuisance that each time i want to insert rows i have to delete the default number 1, type in my required number, and choose ‘below selection’. I almost always want to add rows below rather than rows above which is the default.
It would be nice if insert->rows could remember last settings. Or default to below selection rather than above selection. Then at least i could simply press enter after putting in the number of lines. I’m often forgetting to change this, which means i have to undo and go through the whole menu thing again. And it slows things terribly to have to go from mouse input to keyboard and back to mouse.
This is only a very little thing i know, but i’d really love to see it!

As a workaround, you can simply place your cursor in the number dialog and use the scroll wheel to change to the required number. No keyboard needed.
