I am used to right clicking a file in a word program and having multiple options including copying, deleting, etc. files. When I right click in writer it does not give options. What is a similar way to move or delete files when in a folder filled with docs? Using linux mint 17.2 English. LibreOffice 4.4.3.2
When you are in a Save or Open dialog, then you are within a standard Windows dialog (incidentally, you need to add your OS (‘operating system’) to the Tags, please) and can use all the standard operations for that dialog. However, the LO/OO window needs to be compatible across 3 different OS & they do not all offer the same facilities.
Use an Explorer window if you need to administer your files. In the normal manner, you will not be able to move files whilst they are open within any App.
