Move Rows in Calc

I have been trying to move 1 or more columns in Calc, version 7.32. It doesn’t work. I select one or more columns, and click inside that selection and to drag, as suggested in another post. It does nothing. I tried selecting columns, then holding the Alt key and dragging. Nothing. I also tried selecting the columns, then pressing Alt and then left clicking in the selection and trying to drag. Nothing. I tried shift-click with the above. Nothing. In every case I get circle with a line through it when I try to drag, and nothing happens.

Is some part of the column protected (Tools > Protect sheet)?

Ok, after sending this yesterday I updated my version of LibreOffice from 7.3.2 to 7.3.4.2. And tried to move columns in the same spreadsheet. I had opened and closed the 7.3.2 program and the spreadsheet several times and it didn’t work yestarday. But now doing it on the same spreadsheet, it works. If I select a column header, then left-click inside the selected column and drag, it will move the column to the new location, and leave the source column blank. If I select a column and alt-left click, it will move the column and remove the source (now blank) column. So maybe it was an issue with 7.3.2? Anyway, upgrading to 7.3.4.2 solved this.
