Moving equations to and from Word 2013

I have used exclusively LibreOffice since 2011. Now I’m back to college and have to share files with colleagues that only use Word 2013. My files have lots of equations.

If I cut and paste an equation from LibreOffice to Word 2013, will it be editable in Word? Will I be able to edit the equations they build in Word on my LibreOffice?
