Multiple Page view in LO Drawing

My requirement is to include the scanned image on one page and extracted text on another page. How can I accomplish this either using Text Document or Drawing modules?

I tried doing the following:

  1. Opening the scanned PDF using LO Drawing
  2. Using the OCR tools, I am able to extract the text
  3. I am able to insert a new page in LO Drawing
  4. Copy paste the extracted text on the page

For a maximum 10 page scanned document, this exercise/process is very simple to follow. Beyond that, it becomes cumbersome. I am not sure if LO Drawing has a multiple-page view feature as in Text Document (Writer).

I am also unable to export the PDF file to ODT format. Because Writer allows multiple-page views, I thought of exporting the scanned image to ODT format.

Any thoughts or suggestions to address this challenge?

PDF documents can be opened in Draw and slightly modified to save the PDF again. The emphasis is on “slightly” because Draw or Libre Office is not a real PDF editor. See also:
