Multiple pages per sheet not working

I’m trying to print multiple pages per sheet, but it isn’t working as expected. What I see in the preview window is exactly like it prints to both my printer and to PDF.

Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

Version: 7.3.4.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 30(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 1:7.3.4-0ubuntu0.22.04.1
Calc: threaded

How many pages are there in your document? It seems to me there is only one, in which case behaviour is correct.
I see that you requested 6 copies. Number of copies is sent to the printer driver which will print the job 6 times. Perhaps, you are trying to lay out six identical copies of your page in one sheet (to trim them after printing into flyers?). If this is your intent, you must duplicate your existing page (after a page break). There are smart ways to do that in order to avoid pain and errors: mail merge, cross-references, …

… or you need Labels?

Fantastic! I didn’t know this trick. I always thought page sequence should be monotonic.

:+1:t6: Works in Calc too!

Printer interface code is common to all components. The trick will work with Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math and Writer.

Now that, @Grantler, is truly inspired.

Well done!
