My computer shut down while I was working and I didn't save my work. Any chance of me getting it back?

What kind of shutdown?
Crash?

LibreOffice should offer recovery of the last automatically saved state of the document. If auto-save was switched off, you can at best get a backup of the status quo ante - if you didn’t switch off automatic backups, too.

The backup folder is by default placed in your user profile.
