I hadn’t used it for a while - probably a year or so. When I went to add something to a file it gave the message - The connection to the external data source could not be established. No SDBC driver was found for the URL ‘sdbc:embedded:hsqldb’.
I’m using Windows 10 (up to date), have the latest LO, have the latest Java (which I’ve installed several times since this happened, don’t know if I’m doing something wrong). When I go into Java Options and tick Use Java runtime environment, the list of installed environments is empty. I’ve put off fixing this for ages but would really like to get the database current again. HELP, please.
Seems LO couldn’t connect to Java on your system. Might be you have installed Java for 32bit, but 64bit is needed.
