My first extension broke and I am unable to remove

I attempted to write an extension by copying another extension… Problem was, due to my ignorance, I loaded the extension into Extension Manager and it broke. I know what I did and where I went wrong. However, I want to remove the extension but it will not remove. I get an error warning because I did not alter the datatype name from the old name to my new name.

I have searched the files and I am unable to locate the script causing the problem. Any clues how I may remove please?

Try to reinstall the fixed version…

1. Quick and brutal: remove /uno_packages from your user profile. You will need to re-install all extensions that you had.
2. Finer: in /uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/ find your extension directory among all those lu**********.tmp_ and remove.

Lesson to learn: always do a backup of your user profile before experimenting.
