Has anybody actually managed to get MySQL and LO Base working properly together on a standalone Windows PC?
There is a problem with copying data from another instance of LO, eg. Spreadsheet or another Base. For example you may be able to create tables etc within Base but when copying in data from elsewhere it reports “Create command denied for user ‘xxx’@‘localhost’ for table ‘table1’”.
Which version of LO, and which version of Windows ?

I am sure the problem is to do with the sql password. Somehow Base has the password and uses it to perform it’s operations on the DB but when a copy&paste tries to interact the password is lost, ie. robert@localhost password=NO.
Solved. The schema prefix was missing from the table name reference.
