I need to create a A3 booklet and need to know if Libra can do it I have selected the page for A3 but I cant find where I can place it as booklet or do I create it page per page
Does it mean every page of your document is A3? Or do you want to lay out “blocks” (=smaller “pages”) within an A3 sheet which then will be folded to the final dimension?
In the second case, the order into which your text flows from “block” to block" is not the traditionally sequential one. If your document belongs in this category, Writer is not the ideal tool. You should try DTP programs. In the free domain, there is Scribus. Commercial solutions can be found with Quark X’Press or Adobe in Design.

I never had a problem with printing A4 to A3 paper as booklet until I bought a replacement A3 printer. My new Brother printer driver always rotated the page a second time if it detected I was printing a booklet so in that case I had to pass the entire booklet process to it.
