no shortcut - New download today 28 May 2021 did not create desktop icon for start. tried 3 times.
Did you install the program after downloading it?

Have you tried going to the folder where LibreOffice is, right-clicking on the icon for the program, and choosing ‘create a desktop shortcut’?
Or it could be that the program didn’t install. That is what has happened to me.
