Libre Office launches okay but I cannot launch the offline help using the F1 button or the button on the bottom left labeled Help. When I select LibreOffice Help from the Help menu my cursor flickers, but then nothing happens.
The offline help must be downloaded and installed separately, matching the version and bit system of the main program.

I hope that can help.
Thanks, but that’s what I did.
Matching:
- LO version
- Language, e.g. English (USA) used to not work if you had English (UK) installation
- Bit 64 bits or 32 bits
If the browser address starts to read something like this (but interpret according to operating system) file:///C:/Program Files...
then you have installed it and it is running from a local file correctly. Cheers, Al

I selected English USA for both the main install and the help. I am able to locate the help file and launch it via my browser just fine, I just can’t launch it from the main program.
I’m in WIndows 10 Pro 64x
See if help works in safe mode, click Help > Restart in safe mode > Continue in safe mode. If it does then you should consider whether to reset your user profile. I prefer the manual method so I can just drag back folder like AutoCorrect, templates, wordbook, etc
Another thought, it might be a security setting in your anti-virus to prevent untrusted programs accessing the internet or calling other programs. You might need to add soffice.bin to a list of trusted/allowed programs in your anti-virus.
Thanks. After you posted this I got hit with the Windows File Explorer bug that makes using FE impossible. Consequently I had to restore my system. I hadn’t yet backed up with Libre installed so I just pulled it down and reinstalled it and the help program and now everything works just fine!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
