I would like to suggest a very simple feature which must be a number one priority for any software. A “new” button
Why? Blank pages, like blank paragraphs are messy and tend to detract from the document.
If you need to insert a manual break press Ctrl+Enter or click Insert > Page Break
If you want a page break before a new chapter then set that in the heading style for the chapter heading.

Writer is not about pages, it’s about text.

Which user-interface do you use. (We have plenty “new”-buttons, but not for pages.)
